SALES TAX
Who is charged? As required by law, Canyon Cosmetics is obligated to charge sales tax to customers who reside in the same State as our company headquarters, which is currently Alabama. All Alabama residents who order from our website or toll free telephone line must be charged 4% Alabama Sales Tax.
SECURITY
Secure Credit Card Service We understand that many people are still reluctant or concerned about using their credit card over the internet. As your browser will show with the little yellow lock icon, ours is a "secure website". Additionally, we use a credit card transaction service that offers the highest possible security.

Charges to your Credit Card
General Your credit card is charged at the time you place the order, not when the order is shipped. Once you see the "Credit Card Approval" page, it means the credit card authorization has been processed. 
Ordering "Out of Stock" items or items on backorder. To the best of our knowledge, Canyon Cosmetics maintains the largest inventory of the products it sells compared to any other retail outlet. However, if you choose to still order a product which is marked as (temporarily out of stock), your credit card will still be charged at the time you place the order, not when the product is eventually shipped.

If a product is not in stock and can not be shipped within 7 days of your order, you will be notified regarding the approximate time frame the product can be delivered. If you wish to still keep your out of stock product on order, but do not wish your credit card to be charged until the product is available for shipment, you must call Canyon Cosmetics (our toll free number is at the top of every page) and instruct us to credit your credit card until the product is shipped. Of course, you can cancel your order and receive a full credit of any charges that may have be made to your credit card at your request prior to shipment of product.

Shipping Methods & Times
(USPS is still an Overnight Option)
With UPS offers you and us a wide variety of shipping options.
NOTE: UPS does NOT ship to PO Boxes. A physical street address must be used. Additionally, new shipping laws were enacted after 9/11, which may affect your order. The new law requires that all aerosol (sprays), as commonly used with fragrances, can ONLY be shipped via UPS ground.

Most products are in stock & are shipped the same or next day after you place your order
Shipping times are based on the UPS method of shipping you choose when you check out.
Please keep in mind that Canyon Cosmetic's office is closed on Fridays, Saturday and Sunday. This means that even if you choose next day air, your product will not be shipped until Monday. Also, orders placed after 3:00pm E.S.T. will not be shipped until the following day.

Sales & Shipping
Outside of the U.S.
Orders are not accepted for shipment outside of the U.S. unless prior arrangements are made. You can call our Toll Free number to discuss this issue. Credit cards which are not drawn on a U.S. bank are not accepted.
"Handling Charge" We only charge a very small handling fee of $1.95 per order, regardless of the size of the order. This fee is directly used to offset our cost of shipping materials. Canyon Cosmetics personally packs all of their orders.
You should also note that there is no sales tax charged on the shipping or handling fee.
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
Refunds & Exchanges
Policies & Procedures
Returns - A refund or exchange within 10 days of receipt is available.
Exchanges - Customer is responsible for the shipping costs when returning a product. However, you will not be charged for the new product to be shipped back to you.
Refunds - Although we would like to know why you wish to return a product, but we do not require this information. You may return a product for any reason within the time frame listed above. Refunds will be made by check & will exclude any shipping and/or handling charges that were initially paid.
Only products purchased from Canyon Cosmetics will be accepted for exchange or refund. You must include your order number with any items sent back to us. Your order number is in your email receipt and in the box your product was shipped in.

Browser Compatibility Although this website is designed to function properly with most browsers, it works best when Internet Explorer v6.0 or above is used.
AOL users please note: AOL is known to "cache web pages for faster loading". As the content of this site is often changed, this can result in occasional problems. Please refer to AOL's online help system regarding your "internet cache" settings and/or you can make use of AOL's toll free customer support should you experience any problems.

Also, AOL frames their web browser within their service. This means that you don't have the full viewing height or width as with a regular website browser. You may occasionally have a "horizontal scroll bar" to view everything from left to right.

Product Photos In order to enhance your shopping experience, most of our products are accompanied by color photos or thumbnails of product images. Although this feature will give you a much better idea of the appearance of a product, it can lower the time a page takes to load based on how fast of an internet connection you have.
